Let us Explain: Ralph Krueger

In the first of our new short segment series, "Let us Explain", Harper talks 1-on-1 with the listener to explain the newest head coaching hire in the NHL, for the Buffalo Sabres. In this segment, Harp touches on Krueger’s experience at many high-calibre levels of hockey, as well as his not-so-brief stint with the Southhampton Football Club of the English Premier League.

Round 2 (Featuring Andrew Peski)

In the first half of this episode, the guys predict the 2nd round of the NHL playoffs. In the second half, Chad and Harp chat with their old high school buddy, and current NCAA hockey player at the University of North Dakota, Andrew Peski. Interview with an AHL Commentator (Featuring David Foot)

In the first half of the episode, the guys go over their biggest disappointments and biggest surprises from the 2018-19 NHL regular season. In the second half, Harp is joined by his good buddy David Foot @FootyOnTheAir, who is the commentator for the Belleville Senators in the AHL. Footy does colour-commentary and play-by-play coverage for the B-Sens and also covers the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL for 800 am CJBQ. He also reports on news, sports and events in the Quinte Broadcasting newsroom in Belleville. These Two NHL Executives Should Be FIRED!

Trade Deadline Recap and The Life of an OHL Scout (Featuring Jonathan Kyriacou)

For the first 30 minutes of this episode, the guys recap some of the biggest deals from Monday’s Trade Deadline, and declare the winners and losers. Later on in the show, the guys are joined by a good friend of the podcast, Jonathan Kyriacou (Keer-ee-a-koo). Jon is a well-spoken guy with a great hockey mind. He has experience in scouting and player development for various hockey franchises, including the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL, the Ottawa 67s of the OHL, and even the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. Jon worked under some great hockey names like Brendan Shanahan and Lou Lamoreillo, and even directly reported to current Leafs General Manager, Kyle Dubas during his time with the organization.
