Trade Deadline Needs for the Canadian Teams (Featuring Jonathan Kyriacou and Adam James)

In this episode, the guys are joined by two good friends of the podcast, Jonathan Kyriacou (Keer-ee-a-koo) and Adam James to chat about the seven Canadian NHL teams, and what their needs are, as we approach the NHL trade deadline.

* For the record, Jon and Adam are the only two guests on the podcast who have made a second appearance. * That’s a pretty high honour if we do say so ourselves.

Jonathan Kyriacou:
Jon is a well-spoken guy with a great hockey mind. He has experience in scouting and player development for various hockey franchises, including the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL, the Ottawa 67s of the OHL, and even the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL. In this episode, Jon talks about his most recent experience in organizing the Ivy Sports Conference at Western University. During this event, he was fortunate enough to work with a few high-profile names in the NHL community, including Arizona Coyotes GM John Chayka, and former NHLer Paul “Biznasty” Bissonnette.

Adam James:
Adam is a long-time friend of the show. He played over 200 games of Junior hockey over his five year career in the EOJHL and the CCHL2. Adam is also a pretty big fan of the Montreal Canadiens. In this episode, Adam chimes in for some Habs talk, as we discuss the trajectory of the slumping Canadiens, and provide suggestions as to what GM Marc Bergevin should do to address both the short and long-term goals of the hockey club.
